A Day at the Park

I started my weekend off at Elk Grove Park. I thought I would get a few shots of some trees and water, but the place was littered with ducks, geese, and other birds...as well as some good fog. The photo session was relaxing and I was able to let go of the long week of work I just finished.

The stress of adulthood was alleviated, if only for a moment. While I was there, it was just nature and I. I stood next to the birds, and they didn't run or fly away. Actually, one of the ducks followed me around the park and saw me back to my car at the end. I think I made a new friend.

I enjoyed the sound of the fountains and the birds chirping, and it allowed me to start the weekend off on a peaceful note. This is, without a doubt, one of my new loves.
